Planning of photos

Planning of photos (I know that when actually taking these photos I wont be able to stick to my plan completly, so I will just use these as guidelines)

I have done this planning of photo's, so when i come to take my photo's, i will know excatly who i need and where we need to go so i am able to take the photo's i want.

Front cover

The main image on the front page will be a candid image; of the featuring artist ‘Rose Page’, the image will be of the artist. It will be in an natural environment eg, a field. It will be a long shot, with her smiling but also serious, so she is seen as fun but wanting people to take her music seriously, her body language will be fun and reflecting this facial expression. The second image on the front page will be at the bottom of the page and much smaller image, of a different article in the magazine. It will be a candid image. Probably outside in a natural environment, eg at a park, under a tree with a guitar.The person in the picture will have happy and fun facial expressions and body language, looking directly at the camera. The person in the picture will be of 'Country Vanity' a made up group.

The people in the pictures will be:
The big picture- Serena
The smaller picture-Sam and Sophie

Contents Page

The contents page will have three pictures on, two large where one is candid and one is posed, and a small picture that’s posed made to look candid.
The posed picture will be of a band called ‘The RO-JO sisters’ there is four people, in the picture two of them will have guitars. It will be taken along a road side where there are wooden stumps and they could stand or sit on them. It could also be taken in front of a brick wall. The other large picture will be a candid image of ‘Sarah Jakes’ performing at her concert. The small picture will be of ‘Alex might’ on a bench, or down a bush arch way.

The people in the pictures will be:
The candid big picture: Sasha
The posed big picture: Serena, Sophie, Chrissie, Hannah
The small picture: Ryan


Double Page Spread

My double page spread is the article for my featuring artist, Rose Page. There will be three images. The first image will take up half of the first page. It will be a posed image of the artist taken at a photo shoot. The lighting will be bright. And will be a mid-shot.The second image will be a candid monochrome image of the artist performing on stage, so will be dark background with a microphone etc.The third image will be a candid image of Rose Page and her Finance at there wedding planning, which they wont be smiling it will be natural of them.

The people in the pictures will be:
Serena as ‘Rose Page’
Mitch as her finance

My Final Magazine sketches

From my two lots of magazine sketch's i have done, i have created a final, front cover, contents page and double page spread. I used what i thought and what others thought were the best aspects of each desgin and combine them into one. I have done these to help me when i am actually creating my pages on Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher so i have something to work from so im not trying to create it as i work. These sketch's probably wont be what my final product will look like they, it will just be bases on these sketch's, and i may want to and have to change aspects of it for whatever reason.

I have also created a logo, which i may put at the bottom of each page, next to the page numbers, it would be like a trade mark for the magazine.

My double page spread i have created is an interview with a singer, i have already made up the interview so that when im on Publisher i can just create the contents page, i have made it easier so i dont have to create the content on my contents page too.
